Hounsdown Leavers Interested in Teaching

We like to keep in touch with our alumni as much as we can. If you are either recently graduated, preparing to graduate or travel the world you may be considering a career in teaching, inspiring young people as Hounsdown teachers inspired you.

Did you know that we work closely in partnership with Wildern School, a Teaching School , which now runs its own teacher training programme, offering Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) with Masters credits?

The Wildern Partnership School Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT), graded Outstanding in its first Ofsted inspection in November 2016, is a school-based teacher training route into teaching offering both Primary and Secondary programmes. Good teachers are in demand, and there are excellent employment prospects. The Wildern Partnership SCITT has a 100% employment track record and our trainees continue to do well in their teaching careers.

If you are interested in finding out more, either coming back to us for school experience days or just having chat with Wildern or SCITT staff about teaching as a career, then do contact them via: www.wildernpartnership.co.uk 01489 779458 scitt@wildernpartnership.co.uk
